Old Post Tavern

The project encompasses 2.033 acres in the Town of Lewisboro, consisting of four tax parcels currently occupied by a restaurant and two-bedroom apartment. The site is located within the Cross River hamlet and is surrounded by Route 35, residential properties, the Richard Monsen Preserve, and Town-owned land. The proposal redevelops the existing site with a new restaurant, greenhouse, and market, creating a year-round destination for dining, shopping, and community gathering. The project supports the Town’s vision for a more walkable hamlet while promoting local business, improving accessibility and connectivity, and preserving the area’s rural, architectural, and historic character.
